most elegant venue for a restaurant, but this eatery's terrific cuisine
more than compensates for its unassuming digs. Plus, its distance from
Main Street ensures that parking is much easier to find. Authentic
Mexican fare is homemade each day, and each dish derives its vibrant
flavors from fresh ingredients and deft preparation. Classics like
fajitas, quesadillas, tacos, and enchiladas are popular, as are
carnitas and well-balanced soups. Seafood is found frequently in main
dishes, and combination plates provide a sampling of several entrees.
Traditional desserts like flan and tres leches cake also elicit rave
reviews.
Dont waste your time eating at most other places in Park City. El
Chubasco provides it all. There is no way to beat the price in PC or
anywhere for that matter. The salsa bar is the best I have experienced.
There is all kinds of salsas to fit your taste. If you are visiting
Park City---YOU HAVE TO GO TO THIS PLACE.
This Mexican joint is located in a strip mall in Prospector near
the Cemetary. Chubby's as it is known to locals is the best
cheap eats in town. The proof is in the fact that you can always
find local mexicans in for lunch not to mention the crowd of locals.
I have gorged many times on the burritos smothered in salsa, cheese, sourcream
and guacamole. Whether you just off the mountain or getting off
the bike trail, chubasco's is the place in town to get lunch. |
