The Scene
Fashionable out of towners flock to Doc's, the afternoon, post-slopes bar at the Grand Summit Lodge, to have a glass of chardonnay on the open-air deck and watch the stragglers come down the slopes. On the posh end of kitschy, Doc's sports a full bar, serving a moderate selection of Utah microbrews.

As a local, you might think you stepped through a wormhole and landed in Aspen--the attitude and the cocky stylishness are more Napa Valley than Alta Ski School. But that's what it takes to make Doc's the Alps away from home it tries so hard to be.
