While similar institutions in Philadelphia and New York are closing their doors for good, Chenéz shows no sign of slowing down. It’s homage to the dying breed of Old World-style French restaurant where traditional haute cuisine and painstaking service are the norm. An evening dining on French classics such as Sole Meuniere or Tournedos Rossini is a languorously paced event, and proprietor Joe Jafarian (who epitomizes hospitality) would be the last person on earth to hurry you from your table. A reservation at 6 o’clock means that the table is yours for the rest of the evening. And it’s perfectly fine to linger and savor your Grand Marnier Soufflé.

The Scene
Patsy Cline, Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, and other country favorites fill the jukebox--two songs for a quarter. Located in the heart of Park City's Main Street, Bandits' is a local favorite. Formerly Texas Red's Pit Barbecue and Chili Parlor, this long, casual spot is a great spot to take kids--noise is not a problem here.
The Food
Expect authentic Texas-sized portions of barbecued ribs, chicken, and pork along with its award-winning, two-alarm chili. But don't limit yourself to ribs, try the chicken-fried steak or blackened catfish for a real Texas treat. Kids will love the animals--particularly the jackelopes--and the homemade desserts (rum cake!), while the adults will love the affordable prices and ability to accommodate parties of all sizes.
