Food Baja Cantina

The Food: The folks at Baja have been cookin' up some of Utah's largest burritos since 1983. Proud of the healthy but filling offerings, Baja uses no lard and all of their bean and rice dishes are fat-free. Using only the freshest ingredients, the cooks have been known to create specials like shrimp fajitas and salmon enchiladas. End your meal with a dessert of fried ice cream in a crunchy tostada shell--this dining experience is not to be missed. Prices are reasonable, and evenings can be crowded, but the wait is never too long.

Set in an atrium at Park City Mountain Resort, this vibrant restaurant boasts abundant greenery, stucco walls painted with tropical foliage, and a kiva fireplace. The dimly-lit dining room also features parrots in art, murals, figurines, and stained glass. The restaurant takes pride in its Mexican cuisine; no lard is used. You'll never miss it in well-filled chimichangas, enchiladas, and burritos. Other options include sizzling fajitas, ranch steak, barbecued chicken, and slow-smoked ribs. Combination plates are also available. Although it can get busy given its location, Baja is a good place fpr hanging out and relaxing. Plus, if you want more than fast food after skiing, it's enormously convenient. Come in, kick back, and let the salsas warm you.
